Raspberry Pi 4 is the first 28nm-based product. The Raspberry Pi 4 has 1.5Ghz ARM Cortex A72 CPU, 2GB LPDDR RAM, 2x USB 3.0 Ports, a true Gigabit Ethernet and 2x micro-HDMI ports.

Description

Raspberry Pi 4 with 2GB LPDDR4 RAM is the first 28nm-based product. Moving to a more modern process node allows us to deliver a significant increase in processor, multimedia and I/O performance, making Raspberry Pi 4 a true PC replacement.

You'll recognise the price along with the basic shape and size, so you can simply drop your new Raspberry Pi into your old projects for an upgrade; and as always, we've kept all our software backwards-compatible, so what you create on a Raspberry Pi 4 will work on any older models you own too.

Was lucky enough to find one in stock at a reasonable price. A bit sour to shelve out 20 euros for shipping, but it arrived really fast.

Raspberry 4 - das Upgrade lohnt sich!

Die Raspberries sind wirklich vielfältig einsetzbar - als Kamera, als KODI Multimediacenter, als Radio und Spotify-Player oder auch als Heimautomatisierungszentrale. Ich habe 5 Raspis im Einsatz, die Heimautomatisierung habe ich von einem PI 2B auf den PI 4 umgerüstet. Vor allem die 2GB Memory sind komfortabel, aber auch die USB 3.0 Schnittstelle und 1 GB Ethernet bringen viel. Auf dem Raspberry PI4 läuft OpenHab mit Mosquitto, ein Music Player Daemon (für die lokale Musiksammlung) mit einer Soundkarte, ein NAS, mehrere Python Programme für die Heimautomatisierung, ein Dokuwiki, ein ZigBee2MQTT Gateway und PiHole (Webfilter). Alles läuft sehr stabil, es gibt keine Probleme. Die Memory Auslastung liegt bei 700MB. Wichtig ist aber eine Kühlung, die war beim PI 2B nicht notwendig. Es genügt eine passive Kühlung. Es gibt zwar Experten die behaupten, dass eine richtige Linux oder Windows Maschine als Server stabiler läuft - dem muss ich aber widersprechen, besser als mit den PIs gehts kaum. Die Rechner laufen bei mir 24x7, und das seit ca. 2 Jahren.

Dieser Raspberry Pi ist für diesen Preis sehr leistungsstark, was schlussendlich auch der Grund dafür war, dass ich ihn gekauft habe. Ein möglicher Nachteil im Vergleich zu früheren Versionen ist der gering erhöhte Stromverbrauch, weswegen wohl eine alleinige USB-Stromversorgung nicht mehr möglich ist.

Dieser Raspberry Pi ist schneller und bietet auch deutlich mehr als die älteren Modelle. Dieser Raspberry Pi hat im Gegensatz zu den älteren Modellen einen USB-C Anschluss, zwei USB 3.0 Ports, Gigabit LAN und zwei 4k micro HDMI Anschlüsse. Die GPIO Schnittstelle hat sich auch nicht verändert und deswegen ist sehr leicht diesen Raspberry Pi in alte Projekte einzubauen.
Sehr zu empfehlen.
