Good display for Raspberry Pi (but not quite ideal for Kali Linux)

I ordered this display online and picked it up at the Semaf store a few days later. This all worked flawlessly and I’m very happy with the process.

The display itself is high resolution and good quality, the case that comes with it looks a bit cheap (well, it’s 3D-printed), but it is easy enough to assemble and together with a Raspberry Pi, a wireless mini-keyboard and a powerbank you get a nice, gameboy-sized portable computer.
If you follow the instructions on Waveshare’s website there should be no problem in setting up this display for the Raspberry Pi (pay attention that there is small difference between Raspi 3 and Raspi 4).
I use this display with Kali Linux (which I figured was possible from the photo in the store’s website), and it works in principle, but there is the small problem that at the given resolution of the display (which cannot be changed), everything in Kali Linux is really tiny and a bit hard to read. You can still use it, but the user experience is not ideal. Also the touch function does not work in Kali (which I don’t really care about). I hope that there might be some update to Kali in the future that fixes this.
I have not tried the display with Raspbian, but from what I researched it seems to work better with Raspbian and the touch functionality should also work.
